On The Spot Predictions – What Can You Tell Me Right Now!?!

June 3, 2011

The life of a professional psychic medium is certainly never boring! One question I’m asked, practically as soon as people know I’m a medium is, “what can you tell me right now?!” Like other pro psychics, I like to prepare before readings… much like athletes preparing before races. Giving on-the-spot messages is akin to running a world-class sprint, but without the benefit of any warm- up laps. Depending on the situation, I’ll do my best to accomodate this request because what I do is also who I am. And because sometimes I’m called to action without any notice due to the fact that the Spirit World waits for no one!

A recent case in point was a meet and greet held at a prestigious Real Estate Brokerage to discuss my giving a seminar – as a former Real Estate Agent, I give talks, positivity coaching and energy clearings to “my former peeps”. I had been warned by the friend brokering (pun intended!) the introduction to “keep it corporate” and not get into my other stuff. Ie: don’t discuss that I’m also a medium. The first thing the Managing Director said to me was, “you’re the psychic, what can you tell me right now?” Okay, “just be corporate” out the window! Closing my eyes for a moment, I gave her the name of her deceased mother, in answer to what her nickname might be… most of her last name (which I hadn’t been told), that someone in the office was battling breast cancer and some other stuff. When I opened my eyes, mouth agape, her next question was, “How soon can we book you?”

When I presented a small teaser for about 20 agents, many told me of “strange coincidental circumstances that drew them in to hear me” and several booked reading, clearing and coaching sessions. An assistant manager heading an upcoming breast cancer fundraiser, asked if I wouldn’t mind predicting the weather for the event and keeping it dry, if I could. I told him it would rain some in the morning, then clear up and be sunny for the rest of the day. He then asked, “Will we hit our mark of $10,000”? Pondering that, I replied that they would hit it and in fact, exceed it! Next an agent who was donating his long ponytail for a wig, to be cut off at the event, asked me if one of their own agents or someone from outside would shave him? My answer from The Other Side was that someone outside the company would do the honours.

Post cancer fundraiser, the Manager in charge thanked me for my positivity and correct predictions. The day brought a little rain until noon, then it cleared up and got sunny, they easily exceeded their ten thousand dollar goal and… the gentleman with the pony tail had it removed by the highest bidder – a woman from The Canadian Cancer Society.  Three for three, not bad!

I really do love this unusual, but highly rewarding career. As George Elliot said, “It’s Never Too Late To Be What You Might Have Been.”
